About

Updated: October 5, 2010

In the past year, the branding firm I work for has launched its own blog, so all of my writing about business and brands are now there. This has given me the opportunity to refine the subject of Ladder To The Attic to be focused on music – my own songwriting, new artists I find, reviews of concerts I attend, etc. Hope you enjoy what you find.

Update April 29, 2009

You have probably noticed the music widget in the right hand column. The songs hosted there are my original compositions – music and lyrics – and that is me singing and playing. I’ll be adding more as I get them recorded.

All songs © Bruce Kaechele. All rights reserved.

I’ve been writing music for 30+ years but the oldest I’ll subject you to will probably be in the mid ’80s range. I record on a TASCAM DPo2-CF with at CAD M177 Condenser Mic. As I get more equipment I’ll add it here.

If you have opinions on the songs, please let me know by commenting on the My Songs page. Thanks!

Welcome to Ladder to the Attic – a somewhat regular record of the ongoing internal commentary that results from an hour-long-one-way commute. When this exercise began a few months back I truly expected more variety in my posts. It’s turned out, however, that most of what ends up here has to do with branding – probably since my day job is helping organizations figure out who they are and how to tell their best story. But if branding was all I was, I surely would be teetering on loserdom, so other interests have also managed to make an appearance.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you find it interesting enough to visit regularly and share your thoughts.
